COMMON QUESTIONS FROM OUR CLIENTS

HOW DO YOU DETERMINE PRICING?

Our artists work at a rate of $250/hour. The size of your tattoo and the amount of detail involved largely determine the amount of time needed to execute your artwork. For smaller work, we do offer flat rates starting at $100 for small tattoos. For further questions, you may request a consultation by sending us an email through our contact page.

IS GETTING A TATTOO SAFE?

Getting a tattoo is definitely safe. To ensure safety, the tattoo process requires teamwork from both the artist and the customer. The artist must work in a clean, sterile environment with the right equipment while the customer must follow the directions given by the artist for proper healing. Attentiveness to your tattoo from both parties is key to a clean, beautiful tattoo.

DO YOU TAKE WALK-INS?

We are an appointment only studio for both large and small tattoos. For Cap1 Tattoos availability, please be sure to send us an email through our contact page.

HOW TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?

We handle the booking process through email or text. Cap1 Tattoos is currently an appointment only establishment. By operating this way, our artists are able to be prepared for each client and their tattoo's needs. When scheduling an appointment, we ask for a description of the desired tattoo, including approximate size, placement and preferred style. Appointments can be easily scheduled by contacting us here

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY NEW TATTOO?

It's easy to care for your tattoo during the healing process. We recommend washing your tattoo three times a day with unscented antibacterial soap. Let your tattoo air dry for 10 to 15 minutes before applying a very thin layer of Aquaphor. Applying a thin, lotion-like layer is extremely important for the healing process. Too much ointment can cause  damage to the quality of the tattoo. Continue washing and treating your tattoo with oinment for 2 to 3 weeks. During the healing process, it's important to not scratch or pick at your tattoo as the scabs flake off.  We also advise against submerging it in water (baths, pools, lakes, hot tubs, etc.) to avoid damaging your new tattoo.
